Chris Kobayashi of Artisan Restaurant in Paso Robles is one of our favorite chefs. He always creates pretty much the ideal farm dinner, with menus that present a true taste of place. This year Chris is back at Christine Maguire's Rinconada Dairy, where the cheese is sooo good!! Last year's event here was cool. As in record cold (weather in inland Central California is typically hot and sunny at that time of year) with rain showers before the event. Guests carried umbrellas for the farm tour, then the showers passed and the sun began to peek out. As the tour ended, we walked the table out from under the tent and arranged it in the field to enjoy the warm afternoon sun.
