Our first event at this pristinely beautiful and carefully tended 21-acre farm outside Richmond. Farmers Jo and Rob started the farm in 1985 as a small vegetable and herb garden next to a horse barn. Now they grow a vast variety of salad greens, culinary herbs and specialty produce for their local farmers markets and thriving chef community. Among those chefs is Brittanny Anderson, a woman as well-versed in sausage making and whole animal butchery as she is in plating lovingly grown lettuces and edible flowers. She’ll cook us a meal of German and Alpine traditions while we dine next to some seriously stunning crops.
