Our friends at Monteillet Fromagerie have been quite the hosts to us over the years. We come back for their stunning goat and sheep’s milk cheeses as much as their golden pastures. Once again we’ll tour their impressive farm and cheese-making operation before sitting down to a meal under the big blue skies of Eastern Washington. This year, we’re joined by Chef Chad Bostwick of Walla Walla Steak Co., a hometown-style steakhouse with an emphasis on local ingredients and charcoal-grilled meats. Host farmers Joan and Pierre-Louis will serenade us with words about their passionate dedication to curds and whey while we feast – all accompanied by old and new-style beers from Chef Chad’s own craft brewery, Crossbuck.
