We first came to Oxbow back in 2009 and again in 2010. It’s been a while, so we’re eager to see what they’ve been up to for the last ten years. Oxbow is a nonprofit farm and conservation center that’s deeply dedicated to regenerative agriculture, environmental education, native plant production, and habitat restoration. Their 240 acres of farmland and forest along the Snoqualmie River make for a lovely view from the table. Our crew of host farmers sustainably grow 15 acres of certified organic vegetables that supply local groceries, restaurants, hunger relief agencies and schools, in addition to a farmstand and CSA. Seattle-based chef Melissa Miranda will bring Filipino flavors to the field kitchen, drawing on inspiration from her menus at Musang, her community-driven restaurant in Beacon Hill.
