A table in the clouds. This surreally beautiful spot is maybe our most extraordinary to date. On a towering field along Big Sur’s rugged coast, we’ll dine above the fog to the sound of the ocean churning. When the fog clears, you’ll get a glimpse of undulating grasslands dotted with wildflowers and grazing cows. Needless to say, it’s a very nice place to eat a meal from guest chef Matt Millea. Matt is a longtime friend of OITF and a Big Sur local who’s cooked in several celebrated kitchens such as Post Ranch Inn and Big Sur Bakery. He’s also worked in quite a few of our field kitchens, both as expeditor and chef, including our Big Sur event last year. We’re thrilled to have him back for an encore on the ocean bluffs.
