STAY ON THE FARM
Fun in the field doesn’t have to end when the last dish is cleared from the table. Instead of driving off, stick around after dinner and settle in for five-star glamping at the farm. When it’s time to turn in, you’ll rest well in your own canvas tent, outfitted for two guests and fully furnished with leather butterfly chairs, bedside tables with rustic lanterns, and a comfy wood-frame bed with crisp white linens, cozy duvets, and a woolen blanket. Drift off to sleep under a blanket of stars and wake up to birdsong and a continental breakfast in the olive grove – the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable off-the-grid experience.
It’s beautiful at Thom and Catherine’s place, and it’s particularly lovely in the olive grove. So most years, we go twice. Same farm, same chef, same year. For our summer visit, we’ll set the table between rows of fragrant blooming olive trees while we enjoy the unique aromas and flavors of past pressings with our meal. Chef Brian knows just what to do with all of this beautiful olive oil, along with the cornucopia of peak summer produce in the Temecula Valley. This is a farm, a chef, and a tradition we love. Maybe it will become your tradition too?
