This beautiful urban farm was the site of our first table in Canada all the way back in 2005 and we are thrilled to be back. It’s a very pretty spot to dine, afterall, and an inspiring place of agricultural innovation and education. The 59-acre property is situated within a 90-year old coastal hemlock forest and includes cropped fields, perennial hedgerows and orchards. Host farmers Tim and Clare will take us on a stroll and teach us more about their important work. Meanwhile, guest chef Phil Scarfone will make magic in the field kitchen. He’s cooked many meals for us over the years, including epic feasts on Salt Spring Island and a Vancouver beach. We’re thrilled to have him back for another meal of rustic Italian fare highlighting UBC’s summer bounty.
