After garnering a background in wine and culinary arts in Vermont, Eden moved to the Bay Area to further her career in high end service and restaurants. She found Outstanding in the Field in 2009 and joined the culinary circus. She has completed 3 summer tours and 4 winter tours and has done over 300 Outstanding in the Field events. She keeps the ship (or rather the bus) running straight as General Manager.
Anna GelbDirector of Public Events | New York NY
The mastermind behind our events schedule! Anna came to OITF in 2012 after traveling the country and the globe and working for restaurants and sustainable farms in Boston, Seattle, Austin, Spain and Ireland. Anna has been on tour twice as a crewmember and event planner, and took the role of Director of Public Events in 2014.

After studying at the French Culinary Institute, Seth worked for our friends at Bonny Doon Vineyard before coming on tour for the first time in 2014. In addition to being a three-time tour crew veteran, Seth handles guest reservations, and moonlights as Jim’s art assistant.

After cooking in field kitchens and ship galleys, traveling the globe and living in six of its countries, Lydia brings her culinary and operational background to Outstanding in the Field as an Event Manager. Drawn by the nomadic nature of OITF, Lydia joined the team in 2017 to plan events for the public tour.
Ilana PuldaSocial Media Manager & Photographer | Seattle WA
Ilana’s love of food and travel led her to join the traveling tour crew after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2013. She’s since worked in social media marketing and as a food photographer and private chef while living on and off the road. A multi-season tour veteran, Ilana manages our social media accounts in addition to photographing events.
Matt MilleaKitchen Manager | Big Sur, CA
Matt spent years honing his skills as a chef at some of the top restaurants across the country before joining the team. A Pittsburgh native, he eventually made his way to the West Coast where we eventually crossed paths. Since 2014 Matt has been our go-to chef, lead kitchen expeditor, mastermind at sourcing, and an all around helping hand at a moments notice.
Anthony FullerFront of House Manager | Austin, TX
Anthony joined the crew after managing fine dining restaurants throughout Austin, Texas. As our Front of House Manager and Staffing Manager, Anthony keeps the ship sailing smoothly at each event. He brought his dedication and high standards on the road with us in 2018 and we’ve been lucky to have him on the OITF team ever since. Bonus: He’s a champion choir singer.

After honing her event skills in the Panamanian jungle and tasting her way through Central America, Emily joined the Outstanding in the Field crew in Mexico in 2017 and has been working with us ever since! In 2018 she joined us on the road as our Tour Manager and now she’s planning events and working behind the scenes to ensure we have everything we need to keep this show on the road.

Our traveling crew joins the team from May through November, completing over 100 hundred events across North America. From schlepping and shimming to serving the table, to expediting the kitchen, to driving our trucks and trailers, to assisting our guest chefs and producers, this crew truly brings our events to life.
