Wattles Farm is a charming little oasis in the center of West Hollywood. Hidden up a hill just a couple blocks off Hollywood Boulevard, it’s easy to miss but quickly envelops you as you step through the garden gate. Our congenial host farmer Toby Leaman has been head gardenmaster here for many, many years. She also happens to be vegan, so this is a great place to host a plant-based dinner. Guest chefs Steven Fretz and Ryan Ososky both have impressive culinary backgrounds in Los Angeles and beyond. After years at the helm of lauded kitchens in San Francisco, Stephen moved to Los Angeles to run the kitchen at Michael Mina’s XIV, where he met Ryan Ososky. They’ve each made quite the name for themselves in the LA area since. Ryan is known around town for his pierogis, and spent several years as Executive Chef at The Church Key in Ontario. Stephen is known for his chef-driven fast food concept, Top Round Roast Beef, and is currently the chef of a new plant-based concept, Nic’s on Beverly, opening in July.
This is a vegan plant-based dinner. We are proud to partner with our friends at Eat Drink Vegan for this event! (link to https://www.eatdrinkvegan.com/)
